Before choosing the simple name "Friends," Quakers almost included "publishers of truth" as part of their moniker. Northwest Quakers today still consider writing very important, and Newberg-based Barclay Press hosts many NWYM writers. Take time to peruse the Barclay Press website, there is much of value in addition to these articles.
